Jeff Stopped Smoking After 20 Years!

JOHN: This is John and I'm on the phone with Jeff. Hey, Jeff, can you tell everybody a little bit about yourself and where you're from?

JEFF: Yes, absolutely. My name is Jeff. I'm 38 years old. Pretty active guy. I like to play basketball, work out, kind of run. Two kids, 13 years old and six years old. They keep me pretty busy. I like to be pretty active with them. From the Cleveland, Ohio area.

JOHN: So, Jeff, how long did you smoke for?

JEFF: 20+ years. Very dedicated smoker. I don't think I really missed a day. A pack a day, some days more than that.

JOHN: That's incredible. Jeff, give us some examples of the things that you tried to help stop smoking?

JEFF: The quick answer is nothing. I never really tried ever to quit smoking. I'm kind of a personality type. I understand until I'm ready, nothing's going to work. I will tell you this. I did try hypnotism about 12 years ago in a group setting and it was okay. It didn't do the trick. I think a lot of it had to do with timing if you will. My dog died the very next morning after that hypnotism session. That didn't help. But, anyhow. And then, I did actually at one point try. I didn't really give it a full go but I tried Chantix. I didn't like the way it made me feel within three days of taking it. So, I threw it away and that was that. Outside of that, I've never made a real run at quitting smoking ever.

JOHN: So, you can say Jeff the longest you’ve stopped for way maybe three days?

JEFF: I never stopped for those three days. I took Chantix for those three days but even with Chantix they tell you, you don’t stop smoking right away. You smoke, you smoke. It’s supposed to taper off. I never got to the part where tapered off.

JOHN: Gotcha.

JEFF: Substantially.

JOHN: Jeff, what changes have you noticed since the seminar?

JEFF: The biggest change is my health. I downloaded an app. I think a lot of people do. The Health Track. Certain milestones. And there’s positive impact from quitting smoking instantaneously. And so, a lot of these apps track that and put it right in your face. For your respiratory and circulation health, things like that. It will tell you where you’re at as percentage wise. Being back to a 100%. Your taste and your sense of smell. How much money you saved. So, anyhow, the biggest thing I’ve noticed is the improvement in my breathing, in my health. So, now, I go play basketball or around with my kids or hell, even carry my youngest son upstairs. Even though he’s six years old, he’s a sack of potatoes. I’m not huffing and puffing and trying to catch my breath at the slightest little bit of exercise. So, it’s pretty cool. I can’t tell you the last time I experienced that.

JOHN: Jeff, if there’s one statement of a word of advice you’d give someone thinking about coming to a seminar, what would it be?

JEFF: If you’re ready to quit, do it. It works. Period. There was some side selling around some supplements at the seminar that I read some reviews on. I think some people were a little unfair about the review portion around that. So, yes, that happens, but the guy that did my seminar was very quick and clear on, “Hey. Listen. We also have this stuff here that will help you. Will help loosen things in your lungs. It will help you sleep, it will help you get through a craving.” That’s it. The end. If you like it, go at the back table. You don’t need it to succeed. So, I didn’t buy any of that stuff. I did the seminar. Threw myself into it. I was ready to quit and I’m at 52 days with not one cigarette. And my family and friends who know me are calling and asking, “Are you still with it? Have you had a cigarette yet?” Nobody wants me to but everybody’s pretty amazed that I haven’t had one, including myself. So, my word of advice would be if you’re ready, go and do it. It works.
